Meet the Organizers
Nel Coloma-Moya
Poet-Educator
Nel grew up in Brockville. She brought poetry events to the area, from Kingston, Eligin and Brockville in 2015. Hoping to stimulate creativity and the arts in North Grenville, Nel and Ashley have developed experiential events in poetry, photography and music for the coming year culminating in a festival next summer.
Ashley Sloan
Event Planner
Ashley was born and raised in Kemptville. Always pursuing opportunity and a good adventure, she has been part of the Oxford Mills Community Association bringing events to the area. She is excited that poetry is coming to Maplewood Park and looks forward to working with Nel in bringing an art festival to North Grenville.
