The Circuit, hosted by Pat Johnson will feature musician Ray Harris in a musical mash up. Each artist shares a song in which the other artist finds a link in a story they weave together. Open mic starts at 6:30 p.m. Sign up and perform a song or a poem!

Poetry Workshop with Colin Morton based on The Hundred Cuts: Sitting Bull and the Major Date: May 18 at 6 p.m. Where: Kemptville Youth Centre Refreshments will be provided.

Mary Lee Bragg hosts a workshop based on her prize winning book of poetry The Landscape That Isn’t There. Bragg will read poetry where she confronts her own mortality with resolve, humour, and love of life.

Submission dates: March 1- March 31, 2022 Theme: LOVE Please include a short personal bio (provide city, province and country;max. 200 words) with your submission. The top 5 poems chosen will receive a $50 prize and will compete for the $250 prize at the festival in June.

Contest opens February 1, 2022 and closes February 25, 2022. Top 5 photos will be announced on February 28 and each one wins $50. See event for details.
